Ugh. Life has been so busy this week, I'm not even going to start. Let's just say it's the return of the week from hell.

On the bright side, my left hand handwriting is actually getting better, and the fic I mentioned a few weeks ago is actually getting written this time. It's going to be a lot longer than I though, and I'm soo excited.

New slash couple Demetri Martin/John Oliver? I'm not sure if I like it yet, so I guess I'm off to read fics!

I'm going to become ambidextrous. It is possible, I know it is. However, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be hard. My left hand writing, well, sucks. But it's ok, because I'll get better. I hope.

Whty, you ask, would I want to become ambidextrous? Because it's cool. Haha, I wish. It's because of three things. 1) Left handed people are awesome, for some unknown reason 2) David Cook, nuff said, and 3) Demetri Martin, aka my new found obsession.

Yes, he's the  greek comedian with the self proclaimed "gay Beatles" hair cut. And he's fricking hysterical. And I love him. So there. Because he's ambidextrous, he can do so many cool things.

More on him later, but for now, I'm off to go sign my name 2000 times with my left hand. Wish me luck!

...and I'm not happy about it. Sure, the first couple of days were great, reading fic, sleeping, writing fic, watching TV and generally being a lazyass. But now I'm just fricking tired. I tried staying up til 1am (ooooh bad) to watch a show, but I couldn't even do it. Drat.

I swear, spring break is not as fun as it used to be.

BUT I went to Mamma Mia yesterday and WOW was it good. Stupid Buffalo people for not dancing and laughing more, but what can you expect? I ♥♥♥♥ you ABBA =]

And now my niece is over. Yaaaaay.

Those poor people on flight 3407...considering it was a mile from my house, 30 seconds difference and it could have been me. I'm really scared by that. My dad takes that flight all the time, and several of my friends know people who died...It's so terrible...

So I had today off too.

Which help me start writing a new fic, a long one this time, and I have so much hope for this one. It's angsty Mavid, probably onesided. I'll be sure to post it here once it's done. I'm not sure if it will be two parts or one, or even three (doubt it though, I'm still a Newbie). I just saw a picture of them together at the American Idol Experience opening, so inspiration is abundant.

Also, I read a lot of HP fic today, mostly on FFN, and it's nice to get into that fandom again. It was my first love, RemusSirius was my first slash pairing (and therefore will forever be my OTP of OTPs). Though I didn't read anything with SBRL as the pairings, I did read a fic where, if you squint, there is barely tiny evidence of it in one chapter. But the fic was forgiven, because, dammit, it was FUNNY.

I got a facebook too. No name though, because, well I'm not that stupid.

I have the day off from school today, ooooh funn. No, not really. It actually kinda sucks because we were going to have a pizza party in Latin, and I don't have it tomorrow, and then we have break...ugh. Right when things are finally starting to get better. Yeah, I know, it's a stupid thing to complain about. Oh well.

On the bright side, I get to spend today reading Mavid and JDox fics! Wahoo! I think I may even dive back into the HP fandom, maybe get my SBRL on, you know? Post on some forums, all that crap. I just spent the last half hour fiddling with cuts and tags anyhow.

Other than that...well...I saw the new Scrubs (gee, no way! XD) and I really did like them. I liked the phone in pocket prank on Perry, because, well...frankly, it was hysterical. As was Jo and Sunny's impression of JD and Turk. The bromance they have is a really good storyline to explore, and considering how little they've done with it (you know, plot wise, not joke wise, because they've gone over the top with it on the side) I really liked the awkwardness. It explains why Turk acts the way he does, because it seems OOC for a "manly man" like him to be all sentimental and gooey. And anything using Guy Love immediately wins in my book.

Mavid Reunion? Please Please PLease Please yes!!!!!!!!!! At Disney world even! I'm so excited for the opening of the American Idol experience it's not even funny. Ok, yeah it is. =P

David Cook, get even hotter, I dare you. Just the way he's growing his hair out again, and the fact that I just found out that if you unplug your iPod earphones the right amount, you can hear the harmonies on all his songs, which areprobably the most gorgeous-ass things I have heard in awhile, is making me gush about him. LOVE.

So that's about it for today. Yup.

So. Fricking. Pissed. For no aparent reason except for my "friends" being bitches, That's all I'm saying today.

I am using this icon now more than ever because that's how I'm feeling right now, and is even appropriate to the task. Woot.

My scrubs rant of the week:Make lemonade? Bah, I'd rather just eat the lemons )

Why does everything have to be so complicated?! I mean really, my friends are being total asses right now, and it's pissing me off. My friend "Ellen" is being such and idiot and trying to break up my friends "Lexi" and "Alex".  The thing is, I can understand it being annoying because they do kinda rub it in your face that they are single handedly taking over the title of "Most perfect Couple EVAR", and don't get me wrong, I'm annoyed by it too (especially with my current relationship issues--a post for another time) but you don't see me getting all up in their business and playing the bitchy backstabber and calling them names behind their backs! You wanna know why? Because I'm a loyal friend!

Well, there's more to say, but you know, real life is calling and all that crap. I'll just say that my friend "James" just explodes everything with his ability to make every girl he meets fall head over heels for him, without even trying. Siriusly, he hates it. And believe me, I do too.

Ughhhh.....I'm so bored....

I know, I know, but I am SO EFFING PISSED.

You wanna know why? I got into All County Orchestra, a huge honor, but of course, the MANDATORY rehersal is at the same fricking time as David Cook's stop at Seneca Niagara Casino, the only stop on his solo tour I could go to. And guess where I'm heading? Not to Cookie, that's for sure.

I realise I'm being petty, but siriusly? Do I care?

Oh Jon Stewart, need I profess my love for thee?

Ok, so I was watching Elmopalooza with my niece, and guess who I saw?

Yes, folks, Jon Stewart was on Elmopalooza. As a starring role. An he had brown hair. Damn, that man looks good with brown hair. I feel creepy for saying that, considering he's decades older than me, but still. Damn.

Ok, so I've decided that good ol LJ would be a good place to put this.

I am ready to explode on a Scrubs rant, so here goes.

I like the new season. I think they did a great job, the lighting was awesome, and the jokes were funny. The only things I do not like were the overly cliche interns, Dr Maddox (thank god she's GONE), Cox/Kelso friendship, and JD/Elliot.

Interns: Yes, they were funny, but they were SO predictable and...I dunno. That just bugs me on a show like this. But I'll get to that later.

Dr Maddox: That woman just bugged me. Big time. No explaination here.

Cox/Kelso friendship: I always loved how they "hated" each other, and all that stuff. I do realise that being retired leaves its mark on Kelso's personaltiy, but really? Again, too predictable.

JD/Elliot: Ok, so here's where the ranting really starts. Let me just say this: I do like JD and Elliot as a couple. I think their personalities fit very well together, and if it weren't for my extreme love of JD/Cox (OTPFTW) I would probably ship them. But now, I think they were better off as close friends, like brother and sister almost. You know, able to like read each others minds, but aren't in love with each other. Maybe I'm alone on this, but I don't care. One of the things I always loved about Scrubs was how it balanced  over the top characters with real plots and situations so well. Nothing was ever predictable, the comedy was well balanced out by drama at times, and it was so real that I now I kinda feel like they were-I don't know- selling out by putting them back together, yet again. Yes, the way they did it was FANTASTIC, it just gave me the heeble-jeebles inside when they did the hand-hold forehead-kiss thing. Maybe I'm spazzing over nothing.

Overall: Now, I'm not one of those people who loved seasons 1-3 and then hated all the rest. I, personally, have always loves the series, and yes, seasons 6 and 7 got a bit silly with the humour, but I still loved them. Season 5 was my favourite, just because of the whole My Lunch storyline. So now, i ♥ season 8. Yet I'm still worried for the show, and the ratings, and...Oh well.

I'm done =]

Wow I haven't been here in a while...epic failure

Auditioned for County today on viola, got a 99, hope I got in.Note to self: Never eat a whole pound of those huge Swedish fish in less than an hour. *bleghhhhhh*

Great, now I hve nothing to write about...Ummmmm...MICHAEL JOHNS! Hahaha random.

So excited for Scrubs this Tuesday, but the people at abc are airing the presidential Inaguration from 8-10 so no Scrubs this week...I am sad...I think it's the only reason my Latin teacher doesn't completely hate me. That's like, our bonding point.

Other than that, I am being attacked by plot bunnies, but unfortunately I lack the self confidence to actually post anything I write, if I ever get down to actually writing it.

ACK. My best guy friends grandpa died this morning of a chest infection, poor guy. He lived in Ireland and had Alzheimers so whenever my friends went to go see him he called him by his uncle's name and....gah, the pain.

foxykerouac: (Default)
I am extremely tired right now. Like, siriusly, I feel like I am about to fall asleep. And now I've got to go do this Light the Night walk. Ew.

In other, more mavidy news, I think it's "you're mine dave" that michael said to him at the finale. then again, I could be wrong.

Yes, i do have something against the shift key. Don't ask
